Dallas McMillan are delighted to announce that their two charity partners for 2019 are the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity and the Good Morning Service.

Throughout the year, Dallas McMillan will be hosting and taking part in a series of fundraising events for both charities. Senior Partner Forbes Leslie said:-

Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity funds enhanced equipment and services at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow to ensure that all the hospital’s young patients receive the best possible care and experience. From the latest medical equipment and research to family support services and innovative play programmes, the projects they fund aim to enhance the care of 173,000 babies, children and young people treated each year at the hospital.

The Good Morning Service supports older people allowing them to lead fulfilling lives where they are and feel connected, safer and valued and as such are better able to retain their independence. They operate 365 days a year providing telephone call support to communities in the Glasgow City Council and South Ayrshire Council areas. Their telephone befriending staff take time to build knowledge and trust so that the relationships they create are meaningful and therapeutic.
